Metomidate API
Specifications
Metomidate Hydrochloride is an imidazole-based non-barbiturate hypnotic and sedative agent. It acts as a positive allosteric modulator of GABA-A receptors, producing dose-dependent sedation and anaesthesia. Metomidate is commercially recognised under the brand name Aquacalm for use as an immersion anaesthetic in ornamental finfish and aquaculture.

Tiletamine is a dissociative anaesthetic and NMDA receptor antagonist structurally related to ketamine. Tiletamine is most commonly formulated in combination with zolazepam (Telazol®) to provide balanced anaesthesia with muscle relaxation.
